For those thinking about a IP Camera. Here are quick methods to view different Foscam IP Camera models that can be viewed and controlled individually and viewed together at the same time. While it's only one brand. It does shows some of the diverse differences between IP Camera models that are available today.

The primary goal here was/is to try and let you quickly see and control these different IP Camera models working in the daytime and nighttime at the same moment in time.

So, the first set of cameras is located in Houston, TX and the other set is located in Shenzhen China. About a +13 hour time difference in their respective locations.

Note: Check the timestamp for each image below. If the Demo IP Camera is offline ("Last image displayed from disk is very old") you will not be able to view the camera in real-time, if you click on that IP Cameras image shown below.

Click on any of the Eleven Foscam U.S. ("Houston, TX") IP Camera demo images below to view a specific IP Camera model in Real-Time.

Please note the software being used to display the IP Cameras above works with any IP Camera or Imaging Device that allows pulling snapshots from it using a HTTP or HTTPS URL. The secure camera control software however is included in a bundle. But the camera display only and/or unsecure control software is free.

Hi,everybody,
I'm a happy owner of Foscam FI9805W camera.
1. To present its images on my website I have used "Free SecureImageDisplay Version 3.0" script presented in this topic: https://cumulus.hosiene.co.uk/viewtopic.php?f=19&t=12136 . On each access to the web page scripts takes current image from camera in a secure (I hope) way and saves it on the serwer.
To put it to my webpage (http://www.pogoda-niesiolowice.kaszuby.pl/webcam1.php ) I used the code (see the first line of the code below).
Script is running on the access to the web page (and I want this to be that way). I made an image non visible for visitors puting "display: none" in the code.
2. I have used another script wchich takes an image saved to the serwer and overlays it with the weather data (taken from the file that is using Cumulus webtags) and finally displays an image with the weather data (see the second line of the code below).

Code: Select all

<img id="wcam" src="camera1/SecureImageDisplay.php" title="Image is generated on access to this web page. Than it can be refreshed ONLY every 5 minutes." style="display: none; padding:0px; border:2px solid #EBBC71" width="640" alt="Please WAIT. Picture is loading" />
<img src="ipcam1.php" style="padding:0px; border:2px solid #EBBC71" title="Aby załadować aktualne zdjęcie trzeba ODŚWIEŻYĆ okno przeglądarki 10-15 sekund po pokazaniu się obrazka" alt="To get CURRENT image REFRESH this page 10-15 secons after image is loaded" />
Problem:
It takes about 15-20 seconds for the first script to get an image from the camera and to save it on the serwer so I need to delay the start of the second script about 15-20 seconds in order the NEWEST image was overlaid with weather data. I tried tu use "sleep($seconds)" function but without success (I'm not expert in PHP).
Can someone help me with this?
If not everything above is clear (my English is at it is  ) please let me know.

Best Regards,
Piotr
