So, for a free program, this was a great little find indeed, VERY simple to use (more simple than movie maker thats for sure)

Oh, my settings, whilst using that program, the movie is just over a minute long, and i had one shot every 4 minutes, with a frame rate of 3 per second
Thanks for the update :)

I quite like it - just found the actual website for it http://en.cze.cz/Images-to-video and I see a batch command list which might be useful - I currently having the images saving tlapse_{time}_{date}.jpg which i then move into a different folder for each day, I'm hoping there might be a way of it auto creating a folder each day and putting the files in there for me instead of me moving then :)

That might be handy for me actually, the field in this view, is going to be developed into houses sometime in the future, it might be good to capture the entire build!

I managed to get YawCam to do what I wanted :D

By using the following on the File Output: C:\Tlapse\{dateD}{dateM}{dateY}\Tlapse_{tstamp}_{date}.jpg

It now creates a new folder each day, storing the captured files for that day in there and then creating another folder for the next day and so on....

Now all I need to do is get the Time-lapse Software (When using a Batch Command Line) to use the previous days date and Viola!

But before all that..... I need a days captured images (I only started using YamCam this afternoon) but I will make a quick video of those that I did capture today!

Not a clue! But I hoping to find out and as soon as I do I'll post it here :)

Its time like this that make me think that with a little effort Free Software can be just as good or better than Paid!

Cumulus of course already is well better than ANY paid software

Right after a bit of tweaking with YawCam and 11hours of waiting... I have some Test Timelapse Videos....

The Webcam Captures 1 Image every 30seconds 24/7 so the total for a day is around 2880 Images...

Now all I have to decide is what frame rate works best and I am thinking I won't know that until the end of the day... but here goes...

11hours @ 2 Frames Per Second - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ba-i0TX_L3o

11hours @ 5 Frames Per Second - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g7ZcLmonD2U

11hours @ 8 Frames Per Second - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F-1nQcrzR8o

You will probably need to skip quite a bit because of it being 24/7... :bash:

I am now pondering a one off, of 1 shot every second, then run at run it at 24fps

I often visit it to see what happening weatherwise around the globe. sun/snow/rain etc.
I think this thread has drifted from the original intent of being able to easily view members webcam pics and links.

I have started a new topic and have copied across the forum posts between Myself & Robynfali

I cannot delete posts so will have to wait for either Steve, Daj or another moderator to delete our posts from this topic - you will then have the thread back.

My apologies for not starting a new thread in the first instance.

That address is on your internal network, so no-one else can use it. You need to provide a routable IP address - this may involve configuring your router to forward incoming requests to the right place.

Example of your External WAN IP Address 88.174.136.147 (Example IP)

What your giving us is a link within your internal network....

If its broadcasting on the web, you need to provide us with something like this... http://88.174.136.147:8888/

Putting your IP Address where the Example IP is....
