Lightning Capture experiment success :)

Post by ace2 »

Well the camera's motion detection & motion detection script have worked.

Not much of a storm tho, but have captured lightning with both the camera's detection and my script.

already uploaded the camera detection to my site(picked 4 that have some form of lightning)
Camera emails me if detection has happened, so far 25 detections and counting.
will have to sort through the hundreds of script captures once they have been moved to my NAS drive later.
Looks to be a few in the mix so far.....

**also note, the camera's own images don't have a time/date stamp, the file name is the date/time stamp. My script captured images have a text overlay with date/time.
