Where do you have the webcam? Is it protected? Obviously it's not weatherproof?
I haven't much experience of webcams and the range of prices /specs

Hi there.
My webcam is Logitech C270, compatible with Linux machines. The housing is as in attachment, of course is for indoor use but is a cheap way to do the job.
Prices are variable depending of your country.
