Nope, I'm on a full time training course this week, so I will have little time for investigating stuff.

After the change of the recent graphs, I will be reworking my historic graphs as well. There may be something to look at next week, if it works is should be much slicker and have a new 'feature'.

Have you upgraded your highcharts.js to version 1.3.8 which was released on the 9th January? If you have (or perhaps you are loading your highcharts.js directly from the HighCharts site which would automatically use the latest version), then there seems to have been some changes to the tooltip code that has caused the tooltip to display the wrong date data. In 1.3.8 mine (for historic graphs and nearly realtime) just shows the year.

When I reverted my code on my website to 1.3.7 the tooltips dates worked correctly (Day of week, month, day of month, Year). The upgrade to 1.3.8 fix documentation mentions they have fixed some problems in the tooltips area and I am wondering if they have broken something in doing this.

I will let you know if I find anything.

Hmm, 3.0.9 has lots of other issues for me - I have reverted back to 3.0.7 on my index page for now.

My home page rolling 24 hour graph was broken in many ways.

The adding of data to the series (and rolling off old data) via Ajax was completely unreliable, and sometimes the data was plotted in the wrong place. This particularly happened if the page lost focus for some time or the browser was minimised say.

The Dew-point series is disabled by default, enabling it caused the the temperature Y-Axis to rescale to accommodate the lower values, but the temperature series then did not re-plot to match the new scale.

Disable all the series by clicking them in the legend, then enable some again - the Y-Axes are not drawn properly, and the series plots often overlap what is drawn.

All with Chrome - I did check a couple of these in IE 10 with similar results.

Edit: I just checked my historic graphs - similar issues with hiding/showing series, and the left and right Y-Axes get out of sync with each other. I'll revert that back to 3.0.7 now...

Hmmm just checked mine and I saw the problems with Historic Graphs. Didn't check when I first installed anything apart from the tooltip, that will teach me!! Back to 3.0.7!! I was using IE11 by the way on W7.

Hi,
Perhaps a stupid question
You're talking about HighCharts Version 3.0.9 or 3.0.7, but how do you know the version you are using ?
And how to revert to an older one?

That's not a stupid question.

Take a look here: http://code.highcharts.com/

You can specify any version you like.
Alternatively, you can download a specific Highcharts version to your web server and point to those files locally. You may find that gives you a little better performance especially if you don't have a lot of bandwidth.

I started on getting the Highcharts but am missing something(s) as http://www.komokaweather.com/weather/hi ... umulus.htm gives a blank screen.
and http://www.komokaweather.com/weather/hi ... Parser.php gives:
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 35 bytes) in /home/content/96/5379896/html/weather/highcharts/realtimeLogParser.php on line 81

1. I have uploaded the folders/files from www.highcharts.com to www.komokaweather.com/weather/highcharts/
2. Uploaded the realtimeCumulus.htm, realtimeCumulus.js and realtimeLogParser.php to the same www.komokaweather.com/weather/highcharts/
edited realtimeCumulus.htm line 29 from <script src="./realtimeCumulus.js"> to <script src="realtimeCumulus.js">
edited trsltimeCumulus.js line 19 from realtimefile ='./realtime.txt' to realtimefile ='../weather/realtime.txt'
edited realtimeLogParser.php line 22 from $logfile ='realtime.log'; to $logfile ='realtimelog, txt'; (not sure if this is correct)
3. I already had Toolbox create and append a realtimelog.txt file and uploaded that to www.komokaweather.com/weather/highcharts/
3a Not sure what to do with the tail.exe utility from GNU utilities ??

Any help and suggestions appreciated,
Paul
