Re: Android app for Cumulus
Hi All!
So...
I know that I was here a long time ago...
I've released the first app for Android, but the support was bad...
The source code of that application was lost...again...
I apologize!
But.
I've writed a totally new app from scratch.
This app now supports Cumulus and a Linux based program called wviewweather.
The app can be found here: Pocket PWS
The application homepage, with installation instructions can be found here: http://android.teszdesign.hu
Brgds,
Joe

Re: Android app for Cumulus
As I mistakenly posted elsewhere, this app used to work but not since I upgrade to Android 4.2.2
Shows nothing but "-". And, yes, I am using the latest cumulus.xml
I will be glad to provide details.

Re: Android app for Cumulus
It works fine on my Nexus 7 running 4.2.2. Have you tried to uninstall the app and then reinstall?

Re: Android app for Cumulus
Up until recently this app has been working great, but as of the 6th of July the Cumulus.xml file has not been updating, I haven't altered anything, anyone any ideas?
Thanks,
John

Re: Android app for Cumulus
I don't know anything about the Android app, but this is more to with Cumulus anyway. Your other files seem to be updating OK, so it's odd that cumulus.xml isn't. Is it supposed to be uploaded at the realtime interval, the same as realtimeguages.txt? Is the file being updated on your PC? It should be creating a cumulus.xmltmp file.

Re: Android app for Cumulus
Most likely an ftp issue, then. Delete any existing realtimeftplog.txt and ftplog.txt file from the Cumulus folder, then turn on ftp logging. If the file is supposed to upload at the realtime interval, attach the realtimeftplog.txt file, otherwise wait until an update should have happened and attach the ftplog.txt file. Please also show a screenshot of the files tab of your Cumulus internet settings.john09cw wrote:Yes I have an up todate cumulus.xmltmp file.
