OK - I have a spare mobile phone and sim card, what do I need to do now ?

TKS

Also - has anyone thought of making one of these so called "apps" for a mobile phone, then I could keep tabs on my weather that way as well ?

Tks

After reading these 2 pages concerning sms alerts I thought I would add how tis down here.
I have an email address with my cell phone server. I can send and clear email through cell phone.
I have rules set in place as to what has to be done with email coming through that email address.

Any email received with cumulus in the subject line is redirected to my cell phone as a txt message.

Cumulus Toolbox is set to email that email address with alerts if sensor not read in etc. through my broadband/cable/DSL ( whatever you up there call it).

So where ever I am I get a text message if something is wrong.

This is all free. Just pay my broadband/Cable/DSL connection as normal.
