Hey there,
I got a La Crosse 2305
I have bad readings in wind spike (gust) several times a day
the two bad readings i regularly have are 45,7 km/u and 138 km/u
I know i can do a spike removal for only 1 reading, is there a possibility to do a spike removal for 2 readings?
If i set spike removal to 45,7 then 45,7 and above will be removed right? 45,7 km/u is about 6 bft
I only want to have the spikes removed of 45,7 and 138,0
is there a possibility to do that? somewhere in a .ini file orso?
thanks in advance
Richard

No, it doesn't work that way. It works on the difference between two consecutive readings, as it says in the help.Nightflyer wrote:If i set spike removal to 45,7 then 45,7 and above will be removed right?
In addition to the spike removal setting, you can specify the maximum wind speed that you want to see, by using LCMaxWind in cumulus.ini - http://wiki.sandaysoft.com/a/Cumulus.ini

Hey Steve,
oh ok now i understand.
so for insurance:
when i fill in at spike removal "speed: 30 m/s" and at "gust 30 m/s" it will filter the readings with a dif of 30 and above with the latest reading?
