Hello, how to set spike removal?
What value should I enter?
I have a weather station lacrosse WS2350 and I want to cancel the peaks.

You'll have to experiment. Set a value as low as you can that you won't hit under normal circumstances.

Hello, these are my settings, from a few days ago all my spike problems are solved

This is the only error message I have, but all the data is OK

Thanks, if I use directly with a PC serial port errors are corrected?

Those are very low wind settings, are you sure they're not normally exceeded?

Ha ha Steve, you would say that! But your right, that's really low. Including the rain rate. I could easlily expect it to go above 99mmhr in one hit. You don't have to set all of them!

These value agreed with another WS that we have operating in parallel some time ago.

By general rule, my region is not so windy at all, but I will have a look at those figures :roll:

Well, if they work for you, that's OK, of course. I just find it hard to believe that your wind speeds don't vary by more than 1 m/s (2.2 mph) between readings. Perhaps it works for you by a combination of where you are and the way the La Crosse station measures wind speeds?

I think the same, I spend tweaking these figures about 2 months, and another 3 or 4 more cleaning up 3 years of data files.
