Historical graphs

Post by Akito »

Hello,

I recently started using Cumulus as the main software for my weather station and am really happy with it!
The only thing I'm missing so far is that the graphs created, which I select for uploading to a website, don't go back more then 24 hours. Is there a way to get the graphs to show 48 - 72 hours of history? Preferably in separate files.

You can choose 12, 24 or 48 hours for the graphs, from the display settings. You can edit cumulus.ini with Cumulus stopped, to set it to some other value - but note that this is unsupported, and the value will get reset to a standard value if you change any display settings.

You can also manually create one-off graphs covering any period, using 'Select-A-Graph'.

Hello Akito

You can change the graph hours displayed by changing the cumulus.ini file.

Close cumulus and open the cumulus.ini file with a text editor like notepad.

Find the following lines in the ini file (my graphs are set to display 48 hours)

[Graphs]
GraphHours=48

Change 48 to the number of hours you want the graphs to display. Save the file and restart Cumulus.

Your graphs should be displaying the number of hours you changed it to.

However, Cumulus will revert to the default settings if you change any display settings after its saved.

edit: cross posted with Steve.

A man with a thermometer always knows the temperature. A man with two thermometers, not so sure.

Thank you for your quick reply!
Apparently I was looking for the setting in the ini file. I have adjusted it and will see if it works out the way I have in mind :)
