la crosse 2317

Post by n5lrq »

Have a small problem with outside temp showing actual Celsius reading but cumulus is set for F. data on La crosse display is reading in F.

wxnow file showing 20 which is in C but should be 68 F
all the data files are showing a correct celsius reading but should be showing a F reading.

The outside trend on my website is showing C & scale is displaying correct C

the inside trend says C but scale is for F & reading is correct F

I have resarted & reinstalled.

La crosse 2317

VER 1.8.3

Also Heavy weather will display it correct

I've looked at the code and I can't see a problem with it. The station supplies deg C, if F is in use, it multiplies by 9/5 and adds 32. The inside temperature code is exactly the same. I can't quite follow what you're saying about the scale etc - could you attach a screenshot of your Cumulus window?

Weird. I think that probably it wasn't actually displaying Celsius, it was getting garbage from somewhere that looked a bit like Celsius.

Oh...well...OK, just weird then :)

No, but it's quite tempting as they make their protocol freely available and that is to be applauded.
