lol, thats me stuffed then, the pc has no serial adapter on the mobo' kinda counts that one out, cheers

You can buy add on serial cards very cheaply.

Hi - I have a La Crosse WS2350 and can confirm that it works very well with Cumulus. However, you should buy yourself a serial card and as has already been said, these can be bought VERY cheaply (< £10).

Avoid HeavyWeather - I survived on this for a good year or so but it was a real pain and takes up a lot of time and I ended up writing my own database in order to interrogate the statistics properly.
