Re: Version 1.9.1 crashes
Thanks Steve, so where do I find the bug report? Do I get it to start again and crash (get that message) and then open/expand it for more details and highlight/copy the text of the bug report from there? I couldn't find any other way to save the report.steve wrote:Ah, so it is crashing! Please attach the bugreport.txt file.sjukmidlands wrote:I get the message about a problem and the bug report
Thanks!

Re: Version 1.9.1 crashes
The bugreport.txt file gets saved in the Cumulus installation folder. I'll amend the text on the error message to make this clear; and I'll remove the 'continue' option - I can't think of any situation where continuing would be useful.

Re: Version 1.9.1 crashes
It's crashing in the USB component, which is a nuisance when you don't have a USB station! I've checked and it doesn't seem to be a known problem, and I don't know why you should be seeing it. It would be nice to know if anyone else with a LaCrosse has tried 1.9.1.
I'm not sure what I can do about it, other than look for a way to stop the USB component initialising if the station isn't USB.

Thanks for the reply, that's awkward I suppose and strange too. Good luck and I hope something comes to mind about fixing it. If there's anything you'd like me to try let me know.
Thanks,
Steve

Re: Version 1.9.1 crashes
Thanks Steve, wow that was fast!steve wrote:See how far you get with build 954.
I've installed the latest 954 build, it launched fine (but that may be because of course there was non new data to download), but I'll close it down now for an hour or so and try again then, suspect it will be fine, but will report back here!
Thanks very much again!

Re: Version 1.9.1 crashes
OK, Cumulus was closed down since the last message and just restarted again... fine, all launched with no problems!
Thanks again Steve. Will let you know if there are any further problems. Oh and just the mention, the date error with Humidity was fixed some time ago has been OK ever since.

...and after a further two days with re-starts after the PC has been off overnight, it's all working fine. There were some humidity records - but they were genuine! (93%)
