Adding a Free Clock to your Website

Post by gateway2capecod »

Hello all..

I found this website that allows you to create and then generate the html code needed to add a customized Clock to your website pages. I added one with date and time to top part of all my Cumulus webpages in the color of Red. See my cumulus pages to view it.

The website that will let you create this is located here:

http://www.timeanddate.com/clocks/free.html

Enjoy...Chris

I often think about adding a clock. The pages say when they were last updated, but if you're not in the same time zone, how do you know when that was?

hello steve...

LOL...I thought you were asking me a "Trick" question.....

I like the clock addition personally and find it usefull for any visitor's to the site/pages, as it makes the site become more alive looking.

There are other things and additions that user's with some knowledge of html/php can also add to their sites if they desire to do so.Many of which are free to use.

some examples would be to add in a Radar Page, Forecast Page, Satellite Page etc. etc.

I guess it is all up to the owner of each site to decide on their own, how much data they would like to add into their website when creating it., but my point is that the possibilities are there is they so desire to do so.

It must be a pain having to wind that one up all the time, though?

This is the one I use;

http://www.worldtimeserver.com/clocks/

Also looking to incorporate the moon phase module here;

http://www.calculatorcat.com/moon_phase ... ases.phtml

All I need to do is discover how I can place it to the right of the text, under my clock, above the table, right justify it and not have have it screw up the formatting of my page! :shock:

Kind regards,
