Webtags and return values.??

Post by hectic »

Hi there.
Can anyone help?
can the return value of a webtag be changed? eg the <#isdaylight> tag will return a value of 1 if it is daylight the same with <#IsSunny> .
Can the return value be changed with the word yes or maybe a symbol or picture?
If this can be done, is there any easy way of doing it or is there a clever person out there reading this who may be able to help?

There are several 'snippets' around the forum using the same basics.

Brilliant and thank you for your help.
I managed to copy some script from one of Jacques sunny weather templates for changing the return value to yes and i will also have a go at using your suggestions and try and learn something from it.
Thanks again.
