Hi
Im looking for a script that summarise the minutes of avridge wind speed separated on say 1 or .5 difference in speed, per month and per year.
From that I then can get me an estimate of how much power a wind turbine might give.
Since im not a programmer im looking for a solution thats already done. Can someone point me to it, or isnt it out there yet?
Example to see what i mean. (0-2m/s is equal as speed, cause theres no power from it)
Jan 0-2m/s 40:40 minutes, 2,5m/s 42:20 minutes, 3m/s 10:20 minutes, 3,5 m/s 5:30 minutes, 4 m/s 4:10 minutes and so on
Feb About the same figures.
This year: A grand total per speed.
What i look for is like a loop that goes through the monthly -> jan09log.txt files and present it to me.
Preferrably put output in a file that i can push to the web with cumulus and look at it there.
Preferrably with either a table and a bar chart, or just a table.
Preferrably With a choise of month or year display.
Thats all, it's easy right??
Hope this was right forum for my question/wish.

Re: Wind summary per level of wind speed
This is actually something that interests me too, so I may well add something like this to Cumulus eventually.
But meanwhile, I'm sure someone will come up with something, it doesn't look too hard
