The betel_cumulus_ajax.js file and / or realtime.txt is not being found. :(

A link may be helpful :)

... It should show Your data from realtime.txt ...
Oh no it shouldn't :(

A 'security feature' of JavaScript is that it can only read files from the user area of a server or the PC on which it is located.

You MUST upload a 'realtime.txt file to your web space, and have that address referenced in the JavaScript files.

Tip:

There are a lot things you can re-define for your language.

eg. "Comfort Text".

You can even change the forecast (Prognoza) language / description, but for that you need to edit:

['AJAX' directory]/zambretti/betel_cast.js ;)

You are trying to use the same 'variables' in the left-hand column as the main table.

ATM I can't see anything obviously wrong, but your 'day' has just clocked over and the windrun is <1.0

Was it Dead Calm yesterday ?

EDIT: 01:14

Figures are still very low (0.7 in realtime.txt), however; I can see an area where I may have made an incorrect assumption. (i.e. - your units are m/s, I am thinking windrun is also m/time, but it maybe km/time, I'll check with Steve !)

Sorry! :oops:

I thought km made more sense as m would be a huge number. It would be for me, anyway :lol:

My error - I made the assumption :?

Bug Fix for users with m/s 'native'
Aadal discovered a betejuice error whereby windrun is 1000 times too small :lol:

For those who are happy editing the JavaScript:

Look for:

Code: Select all

// -------- Wind -------------------------------------------------- lots of conversions to do
// ----- Windspeed --------------------------------------------------------------------

 ..........

if(currdat[13] == "m/s") {	// data windspeeds are metres per sec

  .........

	windrun_miles = ws_windrun * 0.00062;
// CHANGE TO
	windrun_miles = ws_windrun * 0.62137;

  ..........

	windrun_k = ws_windrun * 0.001;
// CHANGE TO
	windrun_k = ws_windrun;

  ..........

	windrun_kts = ws_windrun * 0.00053995;
// CHANGE TO
	windrun_kts = ws_windrun * 0.53995;

I'll clean up all the zip files and post back when I've finally done it :D
