JpGraph error

Post by Vicente »

Hello,

I uploaded to my server the src folder, and when I started the testsuit.php, I get the following error:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or '}' in D:\Inetpub\webs\vipapicom\jpgraph\src\Examples\testsuit.php on line 20

I need help

Greetings,

Since we don't have a link to the page, we can only guess

jpgraph-package is not the right-one for your version of PHP

if you have PHP4, I think the version must be 1.x
if you have PHP5, version is 2.x

also: I see you are using a windows-based server, most of us use a linux server.

more people do have that error

maybe check the jpGraph-forum, and post there for help on the basic install ?

EDIT: thinking of something: do you have the GD-libraries installed ?
also maybe a permission-thing, jpgraph uses caching, so it needs a folder where it can write

check jpg-config.inc.php in the src folder
