How to add a new page in CumulusWeb?

Post by kocher »

Greetings to all.
Although I was afraid to update to the latest version of cumulusMX, finally, today I have encouraged myself and I have done it,

The question is:

I have created a new page in \webfiles, called: "webcam.htm"
I have uploaded it to my server:

http://kocher.es/cumulusMX/webcam.htm

I have edited 2 lines of the file: \js\"setpagedata.js" m in which I have added the link to the page webcam.htm:

Code: Select all

<a href="webcam.htm" data-cmx-webcamlink class="w3-bar-item w3-btn w3-theme-hvr at-slim w3-hide-small w3-hide-medium w3-hide webcamlink"> Webcam </a> '+'

Well, when I press the "webcam" tab in the main menu, I get the image in a new browser tab when, what I want is to integrate the image on the same page.

This means that I am doing something wrong :groan:

change:

Code: Select all

	'<a href="webcam.htm" data-cmx-webcamlink class="w3-bar-item w3-btn w3-theme-hvr at-slim w3-hide-small w3-hide-medium w3-hide webcamlink">Webcam</a>' +
to this:

Code: Select all

	'<a href="webcam.htm" class="w3-bar-item w3-btn w3-theme-hvr at-slim w3-hide-small w3-hide-medium">Webcam</a>' +
the URL needs to be similar as to the gauges/today/index.htm code. its a web page you are calling not the webcamlink

Indeed, the code for the webcam.htm page was taken from an example that you had published.

I am doubly grateful :D
