I've just finished having my domain changed from http to https, which meant re-intalling everything. I have also changed my weather station to a Davis Vantage Vue.
I have installed the latest version of MX and it is fine with WeatherLink Live, however I am having problems with the website. I backed up the site and then re-uploaded it. I have put my details into the internet settings in MX with a new username and password, but I cannot get MX to update the site, or tell if is even trying. I have tried the "FTP NOW" option but that just sits there saying "Status: FTP process invoked".

Re: Checking connection MX to Website
Switch on FTP logging in Settings / Internet Settings / Web/FTP Settings let it run through an FTP cycle and then upload the Ftplog.txt to this Topic so we can see what the problem is.
Ftp Now does not produce any messages other that the "Invoked" one only the FTP Logging will give the information required.

Re: Checking connection MX to Website
It should be in the same directory as the executable of CumulusMX.
can't remember exactly but you may have to tick the logging switch, save the setting, stop MX and then restart it as I think it one of the settings that is picked up at startup.
Then after a suitable period to allow some uploads to take place, switch off the logging and stop and restart CumulusMX.

Re: Checking connection MX to Website
Well it is working. I think your point about turning off CumulusMX and re-starting after making a series of changes was the key. I just ploughed on editing and saving but not restarting. The site is now loading!
Thanks for the advice and encouragement.

Re: Checking connection MX to Website
The ftplog shows the files are updating OK, so if you haven't already done so you should turn off FTP logging.
