Another Top10 approach

Post by HansR »

NOTE: This thread started as the original publication of my cumulusutils, specifically the Top10 functionality. As that part has now developed in another thread, Phil23 posed the idea to use this thread as a discussion of top10 (and possibly) other functionalities. So it is recycled, for the full cumulusutils thread, go here.

An example for the top10 approach you will find on my site.

Can anyone contribute a Win compile for this for us Dummies that don't have that skill on the radar?

A simple example htm would be good too, just to get the understanding on how it embeds.

Looks like an interesting addition to have available on a site.

Cheers.

I can supply my table and style results so you can check the layout (and modify the style file if you wish), you'll find them attached.
For compiling you need just a C-compiler so, not a complete development environment for cumulus is needed.

Best,

Interesting Observation on my Top 10 page after I corrected a rouge figure from the stations startup date.
(Had High hourly rain @ 619mm on the first day installed).

What I did find myself doing though was mentally sorting the data in some blocks by date.
Particularly Dry Days.

Best illustrated by a few grabs.

Again just a thinking out loud observation for comment.

Whether it warrants an INI setting to control sort or not would be something for consideration.

Cheers.

Taking this type of discussion to another place: good thinking :)
Your sort shows that drought is increasing in your area. That is worth investigation. I am now awake in the middle of the night , but I'll get back on this one. Good thinking as well  ;)
