Hi,
I wonder if anybody can help?
Due to shut down of Steve's web hosting I have now purchased a 123.Reg hosting package.
The problem I have is that after setting up all the passwords etc I have managed to upload to the site using the FTP in the Cumulus program but I have been told by 123.reg support that the data is on their site but in the wrong folder. It should be in their Public folder. I have tried putting Public in the directory box in the program and /Public etc but nothing works.
I would be very grateful for any advice on this.
Regards John

What they mean by "Public" is the public access point to your web site not /Public.
It will either be /public_html or /htdocs but to check just log in with your FTP client (Filezilla?) you used to transfer the Cumulus Web Files and you will see the layout on the server displayed.

Thanks for the reply. I have got the site working now. The only problem I have is the remote files for the steel gauges. It used to be www/gauges-ss.htm on Steve Lofts server. I dont know what to enter now?

Not sure what you mean by "www/gauges-ss.htm " which is not a URL.
Are you asking where you find them for download or where they should be on your site. What you posted doesn't make sense in either case as the latest source to the gauges is on GitHub and the URL for site would be www.yourweathersite.com/gauges-ss.htm (substitute your site name).
