The website is there at https: as you say, but the relevant download page (accessed from Extras on his site) returns a 404.

EDIT: Just discovered he has an old site and a new site.
The old site https://oaktreewebs.co.uk/resources/index.php as referenced in this topic has no data and all the links go to 404.
The new site https://oaktreewebs.co.uk/templates.php says he is working on template pages, it does not link to the responsive pages he used to offer
I only downloaded the Cumulus 1.9 zip and that is on Wiki, I did not download his old MX zip, so have edited wiki to say go to his website while leaving link to this topic.

Yes David, but on that site it references a how to that is not available yet, so I guess Neil is only just starting this, his third site, counting that what my edited post says is second he now refers to as his "original site", but what his first post refers to is an earlier site.

Anyway, I have added the link to that site onto the earlier topic.

Sorry to say that I have discontinued the WordPress site for MX at the moment but have developed an alternative set of templates for a normal site. You can see these at https://weather.oaktreewebs.co.uk. I will be looking again at a WordPress version later this year after I have created an alternative to the MX Interface based on the new templates.

The main issue with using WordPress is that all WordPress sites already use jQuery so it clashes with the version used for MX Gauges - it requires significant editing to get it working correctly.

Hi all

Following on from my work on the MX Interface, I have looked again at the default website supplied with CumulusMX. I have published the work done so far at https://weather.oaktreewebs.co.uk/index.html. It works with the default data as used by the default website but makes better use of responsive technology and does not use any tables. This should make it better for those using accessibility tools.

If I release it for general consumption, it includes a template.html page that just has 1, 2, 3 and 4 column frameworks for this that want to include their own customisation. It also has settings embedded in the 'page-manager.js' file so that you can easily change the same features as on the MX Interface.

It no longer uses a side panel but does have the option to include 'information' panels within the main page content. Some are enabled on the published site but they can easily be removed.

Please let me know if you are interested in this so I can decide if I am going to release it generally.

Although I don't use the default website and therefore I may be talking about things of which I shouldn't, but I could not help looking at your new proposal and noticing (on the Today vs Yesterday page): This leads to my remark that the repetitive T: and Y: is much to my disliking. The pagename clearly states Today vs Yesterday and if that would not be enough than maybe a kind of column header could indicate what we are looking at.

Just a first reaction, if I am the only one who notices just ignore

You have hit the only issue that I am not happy with. There is no way to get a column heading above each column due to the changes in layout required for small screens. This means I have to have some way of differentiating between the two columns that sticks with the readings when one reading is above the other. The alternative is simply to put an 'information' panel that explains that todays data is on the left. However, there are some screen resolutions that put todays data above yesterdays. On reflection, I will investigate if I can always place the data columns side by side on all screens.

That was a design choice. The background is a gradient with a fixed height dark panel at the top. It is independent of the title.

On iPad with Safari and Chrome the pages seem to behave ok, but with Firefox and Brave there is a strange issue of fonts and menu zooming when starting to scroll the page down.

I have taken on board the comments received so far and reworked the Today v Yesterday page so that it no longer has 'T:' & 'Y:' in front of all data. It now also always displays the data on the same line. Note that on some screen widths this makes a two line display with a large gap between today and yesterday. Note also that I have reversed the order- yesterday comes first with today on the right.

I have also used the gradient (modified) on all appropriate panels including the gauges. The graph buttons now toggle correctly within your current session so that if you revisit a graph page it will display the same graph you viewed last time. The buttons also correctly reflect the graph being displayed.

If people want this version I will make it available on the wiki.

Looks better, thanks.

Two remarks:

1. The temp unit looks like Units: °C & %, that seems incorrect;
2. The timestamp has the @-sign removed, that probably is a choice, however missing it kind of confuses though it is readable when realised.
   Personally I prefer it with the @-sign.
