Re: Yet Another Dayfile Reader (PHP)
Thanks Mark
I've done a few other small tweaks to the css (a dangerous thing with the beteljuice)
I've only done 700px css ATM, but you can see the result in Edit: link removed, no longer relevant
Edit: If it doesn't look right good - force a refresh (for the css to reload)
In the main file I have removed the menu split option, but added the (page owners) choice of button or dropdown options.
Mille Gracis
I will doing the other css files and releasing everything later ....

Re: Yet Another Dayfile Reader (PHP)
Force a refresh in your browser, I think it is using an old cached copy of the CSS file - mine did the same.

Re: Yet Another Dayfile Reader (PHP)
Indeed, Looks like the wrong readDayfile.php is in the ZIP file as the Menu Split option is still there and no dropdown option.

Release distribution zip updated.
EDIT: beteljuice unforced error fixed !
Or if you already have the new css you can just have the readDayfile.php.
Edit: Oops - download again please, missed a 5px. tweak !
Edit#2: Oops#2 - download yet again please, missed a global !

Installed & Working: http://www.westonweather.co.uk/daybyday.php
Where can I adjust the spacing slightly of the Menu Bar? You will see it overlaps slightly with the section below.
This is in the StyleSheet I'm guessing?
p.s. - Looks much better on mobile device (iPad & iPhone).

@ ALL
Must have had a bad day - missed a 5px tweak, please download again from above or first page
@ westonweather
Interesting .. your page behaves pretty much as I expected the original to, but I had to css code around to make things 'sit' properly (css and the beteljuice do not have the same outlook on the world)
Try this CSS file (It has comments) Edit: link removed - no longer relevent.

Re: Yet Another Dayfile Reader (PHP)
That's interesting. Changed the CSS file, looks good.
Updated to the newer readDayfile and it's broken my page. When it first loads it looks fine, when you select a different paramter it forces the page to load within itself, rather than just refresh the data.

Re: Yet Another Dayfile Reader (PHP)
OK, can confirm it's NOT the CSS file that broke it, I rolled back to the previous one, spacing went wrong again and page still loads within itself, new CSS reinstalled, spacing fixed, page still loading incorrectly.
Something has just changed in the readDayfile that has upset the page.

Re: Yet Another Dayfile Reader (PHP)
Arggh !!!!! the beteljuice must try and get a nap at least once a week - that and do better housekeeping on all the different variants of the files I now have !!
Sorry - Sorry - Sorry
The beteljuice 'lost' a global declaration between working versions.
Updated - yet again above (stand-alone) or distrubution in first post.
I shall do no more until I have visited the local hostelry for liquid anaesthesia
