Sorry - Sorry - Sorry
The beteljuice 'lost' a global declaration between working versions.

Updated - yet again above (stand-alone) or distrubution in first post.

I shall do no more until I have visited the local hostelry for liquid anaesthesia :bash:
Top bloke, that's fixed it! Have a drink on me ;)

Using the latest files, I selected.."false" for the "buttons" and I get the "dropdown" when the page 1st loads, but when I select a different data IE:"Rain","Min Temp", the page reverts back to the "buttons" look. Do I need to edit another line other than "..$buttons = false; // true = button options, false = dropdown options"..?

Thanks for any help...

Try forcing a page reload. CTRL F5. It may be a caching issue as the file changes are small?

The "re-load" DOES work, but then when you change the data field it still reverts back the the "button" look....?

Do you have more than one copy of the readDayfile ?
If you are renaming this 'new' version there is a new variable for you to change $this_file_name =

I have strange screen display that I cannot see why.
Initially screen looks perfect - when I change to year 2013 and full years data is loaded, the screen 'shifts' over to the right and my station name and navigation bar are duplicated.
See attached jpgs.
The 2nd image doesn't show the navigation bar but the station name is clearly shown duplicated.

Please help!

Thanks

Added to languages and read day file (the version 2 breeds) Heat Index
Might no be correct for other than English as used Google translate (I have enough difficulty in getting my own language of English correct  )

Looks best with the 750 version as Heat Index appears on first entry of second row

@ nossis

.. but you've done what every temperate => hot country does.

You've 'stretched' the cold scale so it's not as well defined as the hot.

Error discovered in example 'holding' pages

Code: Select all

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf8" />
There was a missing - in utf8 - should be

Code: Select all

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=UTF-8" />
Also capitaized for good luck.
Only one person has reported problems through this so far ...

Distribution file has examples updated

But all you really need to do is edit your 'holding' page ;)

With the latest Version (2.0) I noticed that a new '.css' file was added (meteo900_betel_datasummary.css) and after taking a look at it with with the following URL: http://www.tigerdenweb.com/tigerdenwx/d ... sic900.php I decided to incorporate it into my Weather Blues template (http://www.tigerdenweb.com/tigerdenwx/d ... ary900.php. No problem except for the pages that don't use 'UOM' selections. See the following picture for a good page:
WindGust_OK.png
Now an example of a page without a 'UOM' selection:
WindRun_Bad.png
I believe the problem must be a conflict between the two '.css' files that are used:

http://www.tigerdenweb.com/tigerdenwx/styles.css

and

http://www.tigerdenweb.com/tigerdenwx/d ... ummary.css

but not being an expert with css files I was wondering if someone might have an idea has to the cause.

Any help would be immensely appreciated.

Thanks,
