Edit:

I decided to spend some time getting a fresh template up and running for dazza, today - I'm absolutely exhausted! Hopefully he likes it?!

I've spoken to dazza via PM, and he has apologised for what he did. I have offered some help to get him on his way, but I have limited time myself, so he may make a thread asking for a little bit of help.

Could I request that the posts concerning this, be deleted? I should've known better than to take the topic off in a different direction, I apologise for that.

you can put it out side your web server root directory
say if your web root is /var/www/html then put it in /var/www then in the top10 php in the include "db_ro_details.php' you would make it something like this include "/var/www/db_ro_details.php"

Hi
Nice script.
I use Comulus MX to save to a MySQL database and almost got it to work.

Did have to change the table but I get this error

Code: Select all

ERROR - Bad Select Statement (3) -Expression #3 of SELECT list is not in GROUP BY clause and contains nonaggregated column 'cumulus.Dayfile.LogDate' which is not functionally dependent on columns in GROUP BY clause; this is incompatible with sql_mode=only_full_group_by

Not sure what more I have forgot?

It looks like it is a combination of a new default setting in MySQL 5.7.5 (sql_mode=only_full_group_by) and my sloppy select statements. I'll need to take a look at what needs to be done to fix this...

I have applied a quick and dirty fix - the script should now disable "sql_mode=only_full_group_by" if it is set for the duration of the query sessions.
Ver 1.4

OK, it wasn't too hard to make the queries SQL/99 compliant.
Version 1.5 should fix this problem - reports either way please as my DB isn't at the right version to show the problem.

Mark, you appear to have changed your calendar, your source says version 1.5 was released on 12 Oct 2017!
I know the world lost 10 days in a September a while ago...

Thanks.
