Hi
I am running the latest version of Cumulus.
In the last couple of days my log file for March is missing some data. It should have a line of data every 10 minutes. But for a period of 5 hours there was no data, then it started again okay.
Since then it may go 20 minutes with no data then okay for a while.
Sometimes there is a line of data say 3 minutes after the previous.
The Transmitter batteries were replaced 2 months ago.
The set up has worked okay for 15 months previous.
Any thoughts?
Thank you.

Could you also include your March log file, please?

Re: Missing lines of data in monthly log file
Your console is losing contact with the transmitter, so many of the logger entries have null values (FFFF) for the outdoor sensors. Cumulus 1.9.3 discards the entire logger entry when it detects an invalid reading.
Version 1.9.4 only ignores the invalid items and uses the rest, but even so, the entries wouldn't contain very much when the outdoor data is missing.

Re: Missing lines of data in monthly log file
So I will upgrade to 1.9.4 to improve things a little bit.
But what is the cause of the problem likely to be.
The transmitter and receiver have not physically moved. Could it be a bad battery connection in the transmitter?

I'm no expert, but I would think that if you weren't seeing sensor contact lost until recently, then looking again at the transmitter batteries would be a good place to start.
