Why is my monthly record showing last december only the data of dec. 31.th? There is data from 18.12.2012...? The station began recor data then? What`s wrong now in my site?December 2012? It should be very nice, if someone helps me again...

Re: monthly record?
What version of Cumulus were you using from December 18th -1.9.2, perhaps? And you switched to 1.9.3 on the 31st? If so, did you carry out the procedure described in the first post announcing version 1.9.3?

Re: monthly record?
If you carry out the procedure now (you just need to do it for December, not all months), it will update your December records.

Re: monthly record?
If you do what it says in the announcement for 1.9.3, you can update your December records to take account of the period from 18th to 31st December.
1. Open the new monthly records editor (on the Edit) menu
2. Click the 'fetch dayfile data' button, select the tab for each month in turn and click the 'copy' button in the header row to copy the dayfile data
3. Click OK.
You may find the results need a bit of manual tweaking, depending on the state of your dayfile.txt. You can also optionally fetch the records from the log files and use those. Once you've initialised the records, Cumulus should then keep them up to date.

Re: monthly record?
And again: A stupid question from a stupid newbie... How can I get my Cumulus banner visible? I`ve unzipped and uploaded the files from TNET Weather, and copied Windows fonts to same folder as the cumulus files and the banner.php are, on the web server. But what I should do after that?( $SITE['sitename'] = ""; ?) What site this means? My homepage URL, or Cumulus index page or what? And what after that? Is there something else that I should know to get the banner working? I`m doing as my home page on WordPress.org blog. And I want the banner in my homepage and couple of finnish forums as my signature. I`ve made here in cumulus forum searches as "banner", but haven`t get answers that I could understand how to get forward.. (the sitename etc..). I dont know anything about HTML or scripts, but I want to learn...

Re: monthly record?
There should have been a PDF with the download, with all of the instructions? "Sitename" is just the name of your site - whatever you want. The script creates an image, so just use it like you would a static image file, e.g. in an <img src=".....banner.php"/> construct.

Re: monthly record?
It might be a good idea, no, a great idea, if you first start learning about HTMP and PHP before you start/try modifying scripts/templates that you do not even understand ... ... and that learning process could start by reading the HTML5 Introduction or the PHP Tutorial!kapo wrote:I dont know anything about HTML or scripts, but I want to learn...
