Cumulus hangs on Startup

I've looked at other threads with similar subjects, but didn't come across my situation; however apologies if I've missed something obvious.

Cumulus has worked with no problems for many months. I start it manually each day when I turn my PC on. However, today the "Downloading data Please Wait" window opened, but nothing happened. After about ten seconds that window disappeared leaving Cumulus sitting there with the Error light blinking. The menu items are greyed out; the Error light isn't clickable and neither are the Minimise/Maximise/Close buttons. The console is receiving data from the outdoor unit, although I noticed that the "TX" icon is permanently on (see attached photo)

So far I have:
* Restarted Cumulus
* Rebooted the PC
* Changed the USB lead
* Changed the batteries in the console
* Tried downloading data to Easy Weather without success
* Stamped my feet

I haven't yet reset the console as I'd prefer not to lose recent data if at all possible, but will do that next unless anyone can help me with other suggestions which would be very welcome.

I think you're going to have to reset the console; that's what is usually required. Particularly as EW can't read the data either. But if you want to zip up the diags folder and attach it, I'll have a look before you do that.

You have the usual USB problem:

04/11/12 19:08:11.595 : Request EW data block, addr = 000000
04/11/12 19:08:21.594 : 19:08:21 Station not responding

You'll need to reset the station.

Are the TX batteries still reported as low?
