Barometer Readings

Post by BrendanPratt »

hi all, I seem to be have an issue with my pressure reading, I am higher then the station around me. I have set the station altitude and the Lat and long.

I have all so set the calibration to -3.000 ib the pressure in and a temp to bring it into line.... But I still seem a little high.

Its a Digittech XC 0348 using the 'fine offset'

Any ideas? should I be using a different setting?

The station came with Easyweather software, But I only use it to clear the data off the memory on the receiver then I only have Cumulus running so that it can update my website.

Any help or ideas would be a big help

Cheers

You need to calibrate the 'relative' pressure setting on the station itself, rather than using Cumulus. Instructions are in the manual. If you don't have one, there's a copy in the wiki: http://wiki.sandaysoft.com/a/Fineoffset_manual
