Updated to 1.9, alltime.rec has not copied how to fix?

Post by larrystein »

I just installed and creating a new folder(c:/Cumulus) I previously had it in windows programs by mistake. But for some reason the all time records haven't translated.
I tried reinstalling 1.9 on top with a copy of my old alltime.rec etc. in the data folder but that didn't work.
What should I do to get this fixed please?

Thanks

Cumulus hasn't used alltime.rec for a very long time, the all-time records are now held in a file called alltime.ini. The first time you run a version since the change, if the alltime.ini file doesn't exist, it looks for the alltime.rec file and creates an alltime.ini file using the information in it.

Thanks for your reply.

So, if I remove alltime.ini and restart should it then use alltime.rec and rewrite alltime.ini?

Thanks

Yes, make sure your alltime.rec is in the data folder and you have no alltime.ini, and it should create it. You can then use the new all-time record editor (and the monthly and annual ones) to extract the 'new' records from your data files.
