Hi
Like a few others I got a Maplin Fine Offset weather station for christmas. All set up okay but I am having problems with setting up a website at-
http://www.welwynweather.webspace.virgi ... /index.htm
The data from the Cumulus software is displayed in text format, updates okay etc but the files I FTP using Filezilla do not display. I downloaded the webfiles.zip file from another thread, unzipped and FTP'ed that but still no joy.
I have followed the Wiki Simple website instructions the best I can. If anyone can advise what I need to do to get a proper web page that would be great.
Many thanks.
A screenshot of the FTP page is attached.

Re: Setting up web page
It looks like you've uploaded the files and folders to the wrong place. You probably want to put them in your htdocs folder, which I'm guessing is the root of your web space, and where you've configured Cumulus to upload the pages?

Hi Johny.
Welcome to the Forum. It looks good so well done.
Now for the learning eh ?
One thing you might want to change are the graph colours. You have a yellow temperature which doesnt show too well.
Other than that, well done

Re: Setting up web page
Out of curiosity, is Cumulus uploading the 'realtime.txt' file to your server?
I am asking because the two gauges at the bottom of your gauges page (both the wind speed and wind direction) are not being updated - look at the date and the time below the two gauges.

Re: Setting up web page
Hi Phil
Thanks for the feedback- it will get sorted...
Gemini
Does not look like the realtime.txt is being updated. Following the simple instrructions I opted not to use realtime updates. I may have a go another day.
I do have anotherr problem with a false data line on 11 Jan at 0500 where the outdoor humidity and temp sensors gave v low readings. I will ask about this in the Cumulus general forum.
Thanks for your feedback folks.
