Polish months

Post by Dador »

Hi Steve,
I have a little problem with the name of the month on a website in Polish. Instead of Październik (October) appears in Padziernik. The cumulus month name is correct. This is for all users of cumulus in Poland. Is it possible to fix it in the next version?

ź we write (right Alt + z)

Correct spelling of Polish months

1. Styczeń
2. Luty
3. Marzec
4. Kwiecień
5. Maj
6. Czerwiec
7. Lipiec
8. Sierpień
9. Wrzesień
10. Październik
11. Listopad
12. Grudzień

I used the google translator

Cumulus doesn't know anything about Polish month names, they are supplied automatically by Windows. You will need to ask Jacques for help with getting the web pages correct, I don't think there's anything I can do in Cumulus to help.

My Win 7 has the correct spelling, so I don't think this problem is coming from Windows.

I suspect that accented characters are being missed out, so it's likely a problem with character encoding on the web pages.
