The touchscreen connection has 8 contacts,probably 1 ground/plus,so i think you would need 7 switches,
something like these might work.


then again,
i just took a look at the touchscreen (which i have removed)
it is made of 2 plates, each has 4 connections(the middle 4 to one,the outer 4 to the other),2 directing to a touch area,one from each plate to one area.

tomorrow i will try to make a schematic drawing of it.

here is a drawing of the touchscreen.
i connected the contacts(numbers left) with a multimeter,then looked which area reacted to pressure on it.
so far i found these

So we found the air pressure sensor then ! I reckon that orange/red wire is the receiver antenna so that is the receiver module. So the inside temperature / inside humidity must be both on that larger module. Yes ?

the humidity sensor is the round thing below it,
could be that the temp is also there,what make me doubt about that is,as on the pcb of the outdoor unit,the temp sensor is just a seperate thingy..it's not on that module.

another thing:
if somebody also decides to remove the touchscreen,be aware that you must fill the space of it round the edges of the frame,otherwise
the rubber contact strip of the lcd won't make proper connections.the lcd sinks to deep in it.
i just glued some wooden sticks (you know,for pickles,cheese etc) on the plastic frame where normally the plates would rest on.

To remove the touch screen is the ribbon soldered in or is it just plugged in?
I have just had some problem with my unit suspect due to touch screen. It would beep and light up on its own intermittently. Unable to use touch screen seemed like was permanently pushed. Gave crape data on graphs. Came right on its own. So like to remove it so it wont happen again.

it's just plugged in the connector on the pcb.
you can wiggle it loose gently.
maybe reconnecting it solves your problem.

If you mean the receiver antenna, as in inside the LCD display, then it is the red vertical wire which bends to the right in the first of Hans photos- you can also see the same red wire in several other photos. I don't think there is not much you can do to improve it, other than moving the unit to a better location for reception.

maybe the wire is loose,i found it not very well soldered,you could also try to extend that wire.
furthermore i've read somewhere about refitting the dcf-antenna of the outside unit.not sure if it is also used for the data transmission,but worth a try.

Again, if you are referring to lost data transmission and not time sync a significant improvement can be made (unlless the problem is due to interference) by increasing the recieving aerial (red wire) to half wave.. exactly double the existing length

Although the transmitter / sensor is very directional, if you are able to rotate that through its vertical axis you could get a substantial improvement.

Second thought - you might then lose your radio time signal.

I mean loose signal from outdoor transmitter. Sometimes i see 48sec interval, but if is windy day i get 3-5min interval.
My transmitter is 4m upper my reciver

i can only help you with a picture of the outdoor unit.
you can see what the transmitter antenna is.
maybe somebody with more knowledge of transmitters knows how to improve the transmission.
