In view of the problems that people are having with the Easyweather stations, and the fact that Cumulus 2 is some way off, I have been investigating the possibility of putting direct connection to the station into the current version of Cumulus. This is going to be "interesting" for two reasons - Firstly, I have never programmed a USB device before, and secondly I don't own one of these stations, so testing is going to be tricky.
I need a volunteer to run a simple program to test a theory to see if I might have a way of communicating with the station. Please email me at steve@sandaysoft.com and I'll send you the program.
