Gday All,
Just wondering if the barometer is repairable on the Wh1081. My reading jump up and down and go all over the place causing me to loose data. I have had no luck with the place I purchased it from and is now 12 months old. I will need to buy a new one so I thought I have nothing to loose if it is as simple as soldering.'
If anyone has repaired one before I would greatly appreciate directions and pics if available.
cheers
Adrian

I would have thought that if it is simply a faulty sensor, and you can get a replacement, then a repair should be straightforward. I've "stickied" a thread with pictures of the insides of the station and sensors; I know there are other threads with internal pictures and descriptions - if someone can tell me where they are I'll sticky those too.

On the 1st page of the thread "harrym1byt" also posted the location of some of the sensors.

If you can read the details from the component maybe Radio Parts http://www.radioparts.com.au/ or RS Components http://australia.rs-online.com/.hurring wrote:Thanks for the sticky threads had a look at that. Does anyone know if you can buy the barometer sensor anywhere?

Wow did a search on the rs components site and they have 2 sensors, $560.00 and $780.00.
I bought my station from Jaycar, maybe they can put you in contact with someone.
http://www.jaycar.com.au/productView.asp?ID=XC0348 Looks like they have come down in price now AU$149.00.
