Hi

Not a biggie, tried to update XP while Cumulus was running, but IE6 crashed. Stopped Cumulus and it update fine.
Nothing is foolproof, to a sufficiently talented fool . . .

Hopefully your MS update has updated your IE6 to IE8 ;)

No, I normally use Firefox.

Having the latest IE won't preclude you using Firefox but will ensure you are using an IE that is supported by MS.... but it's your call :)

Hi Keith.

can only reiterate what Neil has told you.

Not only should you be running the latest IE update but it should be the latest program too.

I have used IE for years but recent issues with it have moved me to Firefox and Chrome.

I am currently 'cleaning' a PC with over 900 security issues courtesy of IE.

Nice for me, i get paid but not for the user :)
