First, Cumulus is awesome...I love the simple to read clean looking dashboard.

Second, I need help importing about 1.5 months of Easyweather data.

Dane,

From the posts it looks like you have a way to do this...do you mind sharing? I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks,

Josh

You seem to be getting lots of requests for your software. Obviously it is very popular.

Sorry to add to them but could you send me a copy too?

Thanks

Chris

Hi Dane,

I was wondering if you wouldn't mind helping me out also with the Easyweather conversion?

Thanks

I am sure it is me doing something wrong but now that I have the converted easyweather file for cumulus do I just modify the today.ini to something like this (My weather station was activated in September):

[General]
Date=01/01/2012
Timestamp=01/01/2012 19:00:00

That was all I put in the ini file, I deleted everything else, however my records still only start in October (when I began using Cumulus)

Can someone put me on the straight and narrow?

You just need to set the today.ini stuff to the same as the last entry that you now have in your Cumulus logs (normally this happens automatically when you are running Cumulus). When you then start it up, it will download the logger data from the station from that date and time to the present time.

Assuming the conversion process just provides the monthly logs, you will need to use the various editors in Cumulus to get it to create your dayfile.txt entries and then your all-time records etc; a kind of "bootstrap" process.
