Froggit WH6000

Post by Turvey »

Not the usual 'will it work with Cumulus?' question you'll be pleased to know 😀

I've rescued one of these from a skip, 2 screens 1 outdoor unit, and discovered why it was thrown out. The outside temperature/humidity doesn't register.

I'm thinking that the sensor in the outdoor unit is faulty so I've had a look around Google and can't find anything corresponding with the number written on the sensor (assuming that what I'm looking at is the sensor)

Can anyone point me in the right direction for a replacement sensor or shall I just return it to the skip?

The Froggit WH6000, also sold as Sainlogic 310, is not a Fine Offset clone model.

Thanks for that, do you know what is it a clone of so I can move this thread, or an admin can move it to the correct place.

I think, it's also sold under the La Crosse brand (WS6867) or Ragova brand, but might be from some other Chinese manufacturer

Took it apart today to have a good look at it and the sensor was soldered to the board so even if I found a replacement I wouldn't have been able to replace it.......if you've seen my soldering skills you'll understand!

So back to the skip it goes, breaks my heart seeing 'good' stuff dumped/recycled but that's the world we live in today I suppose.
