Are you sure you have selected the correct Fine Offset station type? There are two, depending if the station provides solar readings or not (NOTE: not if it is solar powered or not).

Sorry but no success to read data anymore.
Using Fine Offset with no solar panel, update time 10 min.
Raspberry pi is connected to the station but it it display "Error reading data from station - it may need resetting
".
I have used Easyweather from windows to reset the panel but no success.
Updated to Cumulus MX 3.10.5 b3122 but still the same error.
Started the application with and without service but same error.

Happy weather

Have you tried to power reset the console?

Remove power cable
Remove USB cable
Remove batteries
Wait 20 seconds
Replace cables and batteries

Thank you for the info of resetting the station.
Have it off power for 8 hour and now it seems to work with the new version 3.11.1 build 3130.

Happy weather

Hi,
I have now tested the updated versions of CumulusMX but 3117, 3121, 3133 and 3148 does not work with my panel anymore.
Tried to reset the panel but no success it does not take the update time settings so something happend with the panel after connecting to the latest version above.
The update time period is stuck with 139 minutes and does not take any changes from the original setup program.
Tested the tool from this site but no success to have the update time period saved in the panel.
Have tested with 2 panels but both have now the same error and does not resetting after power off and removed batteries.
Is there any way to let the Cumulus MX accept the update time period to 139 minutes to see if the panels comes online again.

thank you for all your coding.

Hi

I have successfully reset the update period to 10 min using another laptop and your SetLogger program.
Take out the battery and sent several times the set 10 min command.
Disconnected the USB cable and restarted the panel.
Now it has 10 min period.

Thank you for the Set Logger program, It saved my day.

The station stop sending data and get out of timeperiod. Resetting and setting the timeperiod to 10 min but the station still losing connection and get error.
Updated to latest verion and reset the station but still the same problem after a short time of 10-15 minutes.
Cumulus MX 3.15.1 b3170
