Thanks Mark. The question was raised mainly because the UV entry is in decimal but only reads as a whole number where as the solar had a decimal but is entered as a whole number

Most stations provide UV-I as a decimal, and solar as an integer - the UV-I scale only being 0-16, whereas solar is 0- ~1200

The main reason for asking the question was that in the download the UV entry is showing the decimal number although only whole numbers are entered while the solar is opposite wat round
