WS3080 and realtime.txt issues auto uploading to server

I hope i am in the right place.
Anyway I have setup meteotemplate on my web host server. I have a bit of a problem. I have external cron job working fine, however the realtime.txt is not updating on the server, and i am not really how to make sure the data is automatically grabbed from cumulus and uploaded.

here are the screenshots of my settings. I get no error from cumulus because of wrong directory (according to web host it is correct.)
Ny question is how do i keep my weather data on my website continuously automatically updated?

You have files all over your site - except the web 'root' !

eg. Your weather pages reside in: http://merseyweather.uk/test/template/

Re. your Cumulus settings.

1st screen - REMOVE the entry you have created for realtime.txt !

because ....

2nd screen - all your Enable realtime boxes are checked.

...but

Directory home/mersywe/public_html/realtime.txt

realtime.txt is not a directory, nor does the file have to be named, as it will be uploaded to the named directory automatically.

So .... adjust the remote directory (with trailing slash) to where you want Cumulus files to be ..

my production weather site is in vader, the test/template/ is due to be deleted.
For whatever reason, my site just goes offline. in my ftp home/public_html/vader is where i want the realtime file to land every minute.
However for no good reason I can work out, and the reason for coming here is that cumulus logs into the site but immediately logs out, there is no update.
My first screen shot is the one that shows where the realtime.txt file is located on my computer, obv i cant remove that otherwise it will have no idea where to
look for the file when uploaing. The only other realtime is the realtime.txt check box.

now on screen shot 2, i have vader/ with trailing edge but no realtime.txt added to the address. The website is now offline and its not actually uploading the file at all like it should be I think. any other ideas ? could this be a write issue on the server preventing the file from being written after uploading? and my cron job is working perfectly except its not picking up any data because the realtime.txt file is not being uploaded.

correct just for clarification? i get station offline and no updating, but then the only time the site comes back online and with weather data is when i transfer the file realtime.txt manually.

Did you close down Cumulus and restart for the settings to 'take' ?

For my Cumulus realtime.txt update in Internet Settings - Sites/Options Directory I have just:
public_html/weather
and my realtime.txt is at www.komokaweather.com/weather/realtime.txt
so in your case likely use:
public_html/vader
unless your webhost requires something else such as a trailing /

Do some testing with realtime interval at 10 seconds for quicker results.
