Todays issue...FTP Error

Post by bnwrx »

Cumulus started without issue. Web updating is not happening though. On the desktop display, there are no errors reported, however when I do a manual web update, the little progress screen lists FTP error after each file it is trying to send except the standard files and images which are not displaying FTP error after them?? Could this be my website server(out of my control), or something I can correct?

Thanks

What is the error message?

Your standard pages seem to be updated correctly on your website so presumably the errors are for your additional files upload only, and did these work before, and any changes made since then? Is the source and remote path correct?

There was no error message...just "FTP Error" .....
And this afternoon it started functioning normally.....
I might add, I did nothing...I was away from the computer for several hours....

For future reference, the ftp progress screen is not intended for diagnosing FTP problems. For that, you need to turn on FTP logging and look at the FTP log files.
