I have a question about the calibration

Post by Pablobasket2000 »

Hi,

I have a question about cumulus calibration. I have set an offset of +12 to my humidity sensor, so, as the maximum humidity is 99%, the maximum humidity in my console has to be 87. So 87+12=99(maximum humidity). The question is if some day my console displays 90% humidity, will cumulus display 102% humidity? Or will it keep it on 99%? I hope you understand what I say.

Thanks.

But can I "tell" cumulus instead of displaying 100%, to display a maximum humidity of 99%?

No, sorry. In general, 100% is the maximum relative humidity (I get 100% here quite often) so that's the maximum value that Cumulus applies.

Hi Paul, you know Meteoclimatic me, and I mean, the problem is not what is presenting Cumulus, but how to get that deviation of 12 points.

From experience, the PCE usually marks somewhat low moisture early in his life, slowly rising up to values of 99% easily almost every day from the year or two years of operation.

Unless you have calibrated the deviation to calculate a psychrometer should not do this calibration.

greetings
