I am in need of some HTML help, I need to move a few things around and I don't know how it can be done. Basically I am after moving the items in the below screen shot.

I need to move the Moonrise, Moonset, Sunrise, Sunset, Daylength, Elevation, Longitude and Latitude across to the left, and move the Moon phase next to the numbers after Daylength, Elevation, Longitude and Latitude.

Can anyone assist in my lack of HTML coding... :?

Its a lot easier if you provide a link to your weather station web pages.

You should add that to your profile.

Found it in another post.

You are placing the moon phase at the end of the table in its own TR... You need to put it at the end of the first TR group like:

Code: Select all

<table border="0" cellpadding="10">
  <tbody><tr>
<td class="labels">Moonrise&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</td>
    <td class="colon_separator">:</td>
    <td class="site_data">11:38</td>
    <td>&nbsp;</td>

    <td class="labels">Day length</td>
    <td class="colon_separator">:</td>
    <td class="site_data">07:43</td>
    <td>&nbsp;</td>

<td rowspan="3"><!-- // Begin Current Moon Phase HTML (c) MoonConnection.com // --><div style="width: 223px;"><div style="border: 1px solid rgb(0, 0, 0); padding: 2px; background-color: rgb(0, 0, 0);"><div style="border: 1px solid rgb(175, 178, 216); padding: 5.6px 15.6px;" align="center"><div style="padding-bottom: 7px; color: rgb(255, 255, 255); font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; font-size: 11px; letter-spacing: 0.3em;">CURRENT MOON</div><script language="JavaScript" type="text/javascript">var ccm_cfg = { pth:"http://www.moonmodule.com/cs/", fn:"ccm_h1.swf", lg:"en", hs:1, tf:"12hr", scs:1, df:"dmy", dfd:1, tc:"00FF33", bgc:"000000", mc:"000000", fw:183.9, fh:78.8, js:0, msp:0, u:"mc" }</script><script language="JavaScript" type="text/javascript" src="http://www.moonmodule.com/cs/ccm_fl.js"></script><a style="left: 183.4px ! important; top: 0px ! important;" title="Click here to block this object with Adblock Plus" class="abp-objtab-08658307377720312 visible ontop" href="http://www.moonmodule.com/cs/ccm_h1.swf"></a><embed allowscriptaccess="never" src="http://www.moonmodule.com/cs/ccm_h1.swf" flashvars="lg=en&hs=1&tf=12hr&scs=1&df=dmy&dfd=1&tc=00FF33&bgc=000000&mc=000000&js=0&msp=0&u=mc&tk=&hst=www.worsley-weather.co.uk&url=http://www.worsley-weather.co.uk/" quality="high" bgcolor="#000000" name="ccm_mph_mod" wmode="opaque" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage="http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" align="middle" width="183" height="78"><div style="padding-top: 5px;" align="center"><a href="http://www.moonconnection.com/moon_cycle.phtml" target="mc_moon_ph" style="border: medium none ; background: rgb(0, 0, 0) none repeat scroll 0% 0%; font-size: 10px; font-family: arial,verdana,sans-serif; color: rgb(127, 127, 127); text-decoration: underline; -moz-background-clip: -moz-initial; -moz-background-origin: -moz-initial; -moz-background-inline-policy: -moz-initial;"><span style="color: rgb(127, 127, 127);">moon cycle</span></a></div></div></div></div>

I need a bit of help, after messing around with some html page, I have managed to somehow overwrite the wrong file that updates to my web page, and the below are not updating

Instrument view of current data at 00:42 on 15 January 2009 (guages page)
Page updated15/01/2009 00:42:29 (guages page)

I have tried adding the (#time) and (#update) but its just not changing. Can anyone help me?

I think you must be editing gauges.htm and not gaugesT.htm. It needs to look like this (although I guess you already know this):

<caption>Instrument view of current data at <#time></caption>

and

Page updated <#update><br>

and make sure the angle brackets don't get converted to HTML codes.

But as I said above, I think you're not editing the gaugesT.htm file, and that has somehow got an actual date in it rather than the tags. I'm assuming that you're using a modified gaugesT.htm and you haven't taken a copy that you're listing on the 'files' tab.

It looks as though you may have modified the gauges.htm file, and then saved it as gaugesT.htm on the 15th Jan.

That means that you have removed all the <#variable_name> tags and cumulus can't ' "see" anything to process.
The realtime wind guages work because they get their data from realtime.txt

See if this puts you straight and keeps your tweaks (Rename your existing gaugesT.htm first, then save this as guagesT.htm

I have tried using both your methods, but it still will not update, but what I have found is, it looks like for some reason when it updates
via ftp, the guages.htm file is getting writen as a blank file.

yeah there doesn't seem to be anything wrong with it, even if I open the file in IE or FF it displays correctly, the file is in the same folder as the rest of the T.htm files

Have finally sorted it, I aint got a clue what I really did to mess it up, but thanks for all your help.

I had to get an original (untouched) guagesT.htm file and copy and past all the bits I had added to make a new file, then just replaced the old file in the /web folder, and updated.
