Generating Domestic Electricity using PVCs

Post by Red Sky »

I'm seriously thinking of having an array of photovoltaic cells (PVCs) installed on my roof, even though I expect the payback period to be pretty lengthy. Does any contributor to the forum have any experience of having this sort of system installed, and using it, in northern latitudes (I'm in Northumberland)?

How about a bit of DIY?

They also sell full cells and other useful parts.

It might make the payback period considerably shorter.

Anybody tried this route?
