Any Amateur Photographers?

Post by daj »

Are you an amateur photographer? Do you occasionally feel uninspired or are struggling to take interesting photos?

Myself and a couple of friends have been taking pictures for a few years and each month we would pick a random 'theme'; each of us would then take pictures based on that and share these at the end of the month. Apart from the pleasure of sharing photos it was amazing how people would interpret a theme so differently.

I decided to bring this 'online' and we have started a website. I invite anyone interested in photography to join the group online. In the next few days we will select a theme for November. In addition to the 'showcase' section you are free to create your own albums of photos.

Don't be intimidated -- we are all amateur photographers who simply share a love of 'the lens' !

Enjoy, and please feel free to share the word (and the site) with all your photography friends.

I think users on the Cumulus forum share a passion for photography so thought I would share our little project. :D

Good idea David :) I belonged to a message board (now closed unfortunately) that used to run a monthly photo competition on a theme. I enjoyed that (and won sometimes).

Excellent -- tell all your friends; it's more fun with more of us

If you want to take part in this months show case, you only have a few days left (until 1 Dec)
