I wanted to use the PM facility but get the message "You are not authorised to send private messages." Have I upset someone?

Ah. Hmm. Well, I didn't deliberately turn it off for you (or anyone else), but I have been doing some "housekeeping", including some database check/repair stuff, and I did get a few worrying error messages...
I still seem to be able to send them - I've sent you one as test.
Is anyone else seeing the same thing?

I haven't received anything and my profile still states I'm not authorised. It's probably unrelated but I keep being logged out and having to re log on but I have experienced this before and it seems to resolve itself.

I'm on holiday (at home) for two weeks after this week, so I'll have some time to have a look at it. I'll probably install the latest software and see if I can get PMs working again.
