TLS connection and FileZilla

Post by water01 »

Has anyone figured out how to use FileZilla to access a site that uses FTP over TLS.

Specifically, I can get it to connect using "Use explicit FTP over TLS if available" but it just sits there saying "Retrieving directory listing" and eventually times the connection out saying "Failed to retrieve directory listing".

Also just in case I am a TsoHosts user but the set up says to continue to use port 21.

I do recall having Issues way back & throwing my hands in the air, but had need to set it up on this laptop last week.

Last weeks setup just worked....

Only settings changed on other tabs was to set the remote directory to /public_html/weather/
