**Newbie needs setup help!!**

Post by gwladok5 »

Hi!

Ive just bought the Watson W-8681-Pro II Weather station.

Wondered if anyone can help with a couple of issues?

Firstly the indoor sensor is showing the default 1024mb pressure all the time - not vital as this is not reported to the Central Station.

On the console I have REL pressure history showing but its calibrated 1035.5 down to 333.7 so I'm showing a continuous red measurement line.

Since the pressure range can't be that extreme, how can I amend?

Thanks for your time.

Hi, welcome to the forum.

Which version of Cumulus are you using?

I used Cumulus with my old W-8681 but have not yet connected the Pro II to my PC.

Unfortunately the Pro II isn't supported by Cumulus, so you cannot connect it directly. However, if it can be configured to output in EasyWeather format then you can use Cumulus. Both of these points are covered in the Wiki (https://cumuluswiki.wxforum.net/a/Supported_Devices) - see near the bottom of the page.

As to your specific questions, I'm afraid I know nothing about Watson stations. Hopefully someone else will chip in here and help you.
